How far in advance should Snowbirds book car shipping from Canada to the U.S.?
We recommend scheduling your auto transport anywhere from two days to two weeks in advance. However, providing us with a longer lead time allows us to better accommodate your desired pick-up and drop-off times.
What information do I need to provide for cross-border car transport?
We will provide you with all of the forms necessary for cross-border auto transportation. However, while visiting the U.S. you must register your vehicle with the proper authorities. Our team can help walk you through this process.
How long will it take to ship my car to me?
Vehicle transport times vary based on your pick-up and drop-off location. On average, our snowbird transport from Ontario (Toronto) to popular U.S. destinations like Florida and South Carolina takes between 2 days to 2 weeks. Can you transport my vehicle both ways for the Snowbird season?
Absolutely! We can pre-book your transport back home in the spring or you can give us a call to book while you’re down south. We’ll be here, ready when you are!
What happens if my plans change and I need to reschedule?
No problem! If you need to adjust your pick-up date we will do our best to accommodate your needs. We have loads going to popular southern U.S. destinations all season long which means we will likely be able to find a new spot for you. The same goes for if you’ve decided to extend your trip. We’ll take your car back to Canada whenever you’re ready!
Do you provide door-to-door service for Snowbird transport?
Yes! Our skilled drivers will get your car wherever it’s easiest for you to pick-up , barring any large-truck restrictions in your neighbourhood/drop-off location. We also provide shuttle services for snowbirds dropping their vehicle off with us and heading to the airport. Speak with our dispatch team for more information!
