How do I prepare my car for transport?
Wash your car, dirt and dust can easily hide dings, scratches and dents. Clean the inside of your car to avoid things being tossed around inside the car, remove anything not secured. Disable the alarm. Don’t gas up. Check for leaks. Check tire pressure to reduce the risk of damage to tires. Remove custom accessories. Lock the car.
How far in advance do you need to book car shipping?
We recommend scheduling your auto transport anywhere from two days to two weeks in advance but providing us with a longer lead time allows us to schedule your vehicle transport better.
What is door-to-door car delivery?
Our door-to-door car delivery service means that we will get your vehicle as close to your delivery destination as is physically possible without risking damage to your vehicle or our equipment. Many communities have restrictions regarding large vehicles that will prohibit them from entering residential areas. If access to your destination is restricted by low bridges, narrow streets, tight turns, wires, overhanging trees, or other obstacles, our driver will contact you to arrange delivery at an agreed-upon location.
What information do I need to provide for cross-border car transport?
We will provide you with all of the forms necessary for cross-border auto transportation. However you must register your vehicle with the proper authorities in the U.S. Our team can help walk you through this process.
How long will it take to ship my car to me?

We accept all major credit cards or electronic transfers for the full pre-payment of your shipment.
Can I transport an inoperable vehicle?
Yes, we can transport non-running vehicles provided that it can still roll, steer and brake properly. Make sure to communicate to our dispatch that your vehicle is inoperable.
What documentation do I need to provide to ship my vehicle?
All forms can be found in the footer of our website or by contacting our team. Proof of ownership and photo ID will also be required.
Is my vehicle insured during transport?
Yes. Vehicles are insured against in-transit damage caused by equipment failure or negligence of the carrier.
What kind of truck will my car be transported on?
Abrams Auto Transport uses car transport trucks or carriers called stingers that can transport up to 9 vehicles depending upon weight and size. What is Abrams Auto Transport’s cancellation policy?
You can cancel your order up to 72 hours prior to pick up, free of charge. 48 hours or less, full charge applies.
